March 4, 2015 – The Mountain Accord process is underway.
The draft proposal for the Mountain Accord for the Central Wasatch has been released – see http://mountainaccord.com/get-involved/ The plan addresses environment, recreation, transportation, and economy.
Mountain bike trails and road cycling are part of the planning process.
Wasatch Mountain users are encouraged to view the plan and make comments. Comments will be take through May 1, 2015 (Updated). To make comments, visit: http://mountainaccord.com/get-involved/
Note: A panel discussion on recreation, including mountain biking and road cycling, was held on March 5, 2015 from 6-8 pm at the Salt Lake City Library at 210 E 400 S in Salt Lake City, Utah.
