After spending my cycling career wearing Bell and Giro helmets, I have had the good fortune this summer of wearing a Rudy Project helmet, specifically the Rudy Project Windmax. This is as close as I have ever been to feeling like I had on no helmet at all.
I also don’t like seat bags with straps that wrap around my seat post. I find them unattractive and they rub and eventually mar the seat post. So the pocket pack intrigued me.
Slaying the Badger reads like a well-written novel that I could hardly put down, even though I already knew the ending. What I didn’t know was all the background detail, the subplots and the personalities involved in this story. And even though I felt I had a decent feel for the personas of LeMond and Hinault, the full story told by Moore gave me many insights and a much greater understanding of these two extraordinary antagonists.
Having a home in Emigration Canyon, affectionately known by those of us who live here simply as “the Canyon”, I am personal witness to the Canyon as by far the most popular ride in Salt Lake County, if not the entire State of Utah.

In support of this effort, Utahns are being asked, during the month of July, to participate in the 2010 Clear the Air Challenge.
