June 22, 2015 – The Crusher in the Tushar has fast become one of the iconic events on the Cycling Utah calendar. The 70 mile dirt and road race is held on fire roads through the Tushar Mountains. It will be held on July 11, 2015 and it starts in Beaver, Utah and ends at the Eagle Point Ski Area.
Tyler Wren (Jamis/Sutter Home) won the 2012 edition of a star studded Crusher in the Tushar by nearly 4 minutes over Road Bike Action’s Neil Shirley. This Saturday, July 14, 2012, a collection of riders from cycling’s different disciplines will test each other as they climb and descend craggy, volcanic mountains in southwestern Utah. In its second year, the Crusher in the Tushar’s terrain with altitude reaching nearly 11,000 feet delivers a daunting race only a few can hope to win. One of them is Tyler Wren, a Salt Lake City resident, professional cyclist, and last year’s winner.
