Fire Road Cedar City Will be a Leadville 100 Qualifier in 2013

Cedar City, Utah  (FEB. 4, 2013)  Multisports.com and Leadville Race Series are proud to announce that the Fire Road Cedar City will serve as a qualifying event for the iconic Leadville Trail 100 MTB in 2013.  The latest in the Leadville Trail 100 MTB qualifiers takes place on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 8:00am.

 

In its third year, the Fire Road Cedar City cycling event boasts 25km, 60km, and 100km off road courses that feature spectacular views of Kolob Canyon, Zion and Cedar Breaks.

 

Multisports.com partner, Paul Huddle, said, “It’s our honor to be a stepping stone to what is arguably the greatest single day test of mountain bike endurance on the planet. We’re thrilled that our riders will have the opportunity to qualify for the most prestigious event in the sport.”

 

Starting this year, Fire Road Cedar City will have 25-qualifying slots into the Leadville Trail 100 Mountain Bike Race up for grabs. Of those slots, 20 will be committed to the age group finishing results (minimum of one slot per 10-year age-group) from the 100km race and the remaining five will be raffled among the 100km finishers who opt into the raffle.
