For that reason I have come to love visiting Costa Rica and look forward to going down to La Ruta de los Conquistadores each year, despite my knowledge of how brutally hard the race is. I finally got to race the Downieville Classic. That one has been on my bucket list for years and this July I had the fortune of checking it out.
