Snowbird Plans New Mountain Bike Trails; Public Forum on August 14 at 6 pm

Snowbird is planning a new mountain bike trail system starting in 2014. The first trail in the system will be from Hidden Peak through Gad Valley to the Snowbird Center. The Tram will service the trails in the summer. In order to create the best trail system, Snowbird is hosting a public forum to gain input from the mountain biking community and the general public.

They will be taking comments and suggestions on Wed. August 14 at 6 pm in room Alpine B at the Snowbird Center (entry 2).

The forum will include a map of the planned trails, and a presentation by Troy Duffin from Alpine Trails, a leading Utah trail builder. Additionally Bob Bonar from Snowbird will be present, along with a Forest Service Representative.
