Friends, family and loved ones gathered at the Sugarhouse Park Garden Center on July 26 to not only pay respect to the family of Chase Pinkham, but to celebrate his life.
Cedar City Gran Prix, Tour of Utah Women’s Edition, and Chase Pinkham Memorial Criterium to be Held During the Tour of Utah
This year, several new events will be happening as part of, or in conjunction with the Tour of Utah. First up, the Cedar City Gran Prix, a women’s only Pro/1/2 criterium, will run during stage 1 of the Tour of Utah.

August 5, 2014 – TORREY, Utah – BMC Racing Team’s Michael Schär of Switzerland survived in the original breakaway of Stage 2 presented by iON Camera to win the second stage of the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah. Covering the 130.7-mile course from Panguitch to Torrey in five hours and three minutes, Schär held off both leg cramps and a furious chase group of 34 riders to win the stage.
While the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah has gained international respect and acclaim for its rugged and demanding courses, its scenic terrain and stellar fields of competitors, there has been a growing chorus of cycling supporters hoping for more. This year, there are several other events to complement the Tour.
